On the 17th day of February 1942 at 2.00 pm, a total of seven young men as students Perlimau Sudong Island Gayong. They are Naning bin Mat, Arshad Ahmad bin Haji Hassan bin liquor Saturday, Yusof bin region, Osman bin Timpong, Mustapha bin crooked and Bendol bin bump. In the middle of 1950 - an, many Malay film stars learn Seni Silat Gayong. Among them are Jasni Ahmad , Naeng Yatimah , Kasma Baty , P. Ramlee and A. Uterus . Its peak in 1956 , Dato 'Onn b. A martial arts academy called Gayong Woodlands School or Institute of Gayong Woodlands was established by Meor Abdul Rahman in 1959. Seni Silat Gayong began to spread wide in the Malay Peninsula, when in March 1963, Meor Abdul Rahman has brought out with - her 8 people gurulatih from Kedah travel to the state - the state on the West Coast, East and South. Seni Silat Gayong registration as a registered organization was approved on 22 th October 1963. Application was made in 1962 on the advice of Dato 'Onn bin Jaafar. Initial address of this organization is in a student house in Jalan Ibrahim Gayong Yahya Awal, Johor Bahru, Johor. When the organization's headquarters moved to the Kota Sarang Semut, Kedah in 1964, the City has replaced the Woodlands as Top Training Centre. Seni Silat Gayong has successfully organized the first Darul Aman Stadium, Kedah in 1964. In 1964 at the Yellow Water, Taiping, Perak, the education level and Silat Seni Bengkong Gayong more systematically arranged by him. With the help of senior gurulatih, Ahmad bin FAQ and our benefactors, he began developing the Yellow Water as a new training center and build a custom station. On 27 th January 1971, the Supreme Silat Training Centre and Regional Seni Silat Gayong Malaysia was officially opened by His Majesty Sultan Idris Shah, son of al - late Sultan Iskandar Alang at Air Kuning.
