He first join the Gi Toku Kai Karate Malaysia affiliated to Gi Toku Kai Japan, a member of All Japan Karate-Do Federation Goju-Kai / JKF.
After 7 years of practise he has attained great proficiency both in technical skill of Karatedo and in grasping the true meaning of it after a long term of his utmost exertions. Therefore, the Chief and Founder of Gi Toku Kai Japan Karatedo, Sensei Tomomi Kishi awarded Muhammad Zahiruddin with the 1st Dan Black Belt in 2005 when he was 12 years old.
